I am a dedicated and compassionate Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with over 20 years’ experience working in social services, emergency response, and healthcare settings. I hold a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology and have experience in variety of areas including conflict resolution, occupational stress, and family & relational dynamics. While I work with all populations, I am particularly focused on providing therapy tailored for couples. I further specialize in supporting first responders and their intimate partners - recognizing the unique challenges faced by frontline couples.
Born and raised in Australia, my passion for helping others led me to travel and work abroad with adults, youth, couples, and families in a range of contexts. I've now settled with my family in Kingston and continue to support clients toward lives that are connected and fulfilling.
As a therapist, I believe that healing and growth stem from understanding both our emotional connections and the stories we carry with us. My approach integrates evidence-based methods to help couples and individuals strengthen their relationships and foster personal well-being, with a strong focus on trauma-informed care.
I'm committed to creating a safe and confidential space where you can openly express your feelings and concerns. My goal is to empower you to navigate life’s challenges with clarity, connection, and intention.

Many clients have an extended health insurance policy/coverage that provides reimbursement or coverage for mental health services such as psychotherapy. If you're planning to use your benefits to pay for your therapy sessions, it's important that you evaluate what your insurance provider will cover. You can check directly if your policy covers "Psychotherapy" services and/or reach out if you would like further details on coverage.
My fees start at $150 per session and range depending on the service provided.
You can book an appointment by calling our office or by filling out an online booking form on our website.
I offer a variety of counseling services including individual therapy, couples therapy, and family therapy.
Central to my approach is attachment-based theory, which explores how early relationships shape our emotional patterns and behaviours today. Whether dealing with fears of abandonment, trust issues, or emotional distance, this approach helps us identify and address the root causes that may be affecting your relationships and emotional health. I also integrate other theories to support clients to examine their experiences, relationships, and self-perception.
With couples, I work within the Gottman Method to help partners build stronger, more resilient relationships through communication, trust, and effective conflict management. By addressing common sources of relationship challenges, we work to foster a deeper connection and rebuild a foundation of friendship and shared meaning.
A core part of my practice is trauma-informed care, ensuring that safety, trust, and empowerment guide every aspect of our work together. I understand the profound impact that trauma can have on both individual and relational well-being, and I aim to create a space where healing can occur at your own pace, free from judgment.
